November 6th event to raise funds for Cryogenic Ablation equipment
MELBOURNE, FL - The Health First Foundation's Grape Escape 9 is sure to dazzle the senses with an array of new taste sensations. Scheduled for Saturday, November 6, from 6 to 11 pm, this year's food and wine-tasting extravaganza features an Escape to the beautiful Waldorf Astoria in Orlando where guests will enjoy culinary delights created by world class chefs. All proceeds from the evening's event will benefit Health First Cardiac Services.
Highlights of Grape Escape include a multi-course meal in which each distinctive dish is specially paired with a top-shelf wine hand selected by our discriminating wine connoisseurs. A live and silent auction of valuable wines, fine art, exquisite jewelry and vacation packages will also be held. The Waldorf Astoria is providing a special discount rate for those guests who prefer to stay overnight. To receive the discount, guests must call 1-888-353-2009 and ask for the Health First Foundation Group Rate.
Based at Holmes Regional Medical Center, the Heart Center also includes the cardiac services of Cape Canaveral Hospital and Palm Bay Hospital. Funds raised for the event will be used for continuing enhancements to the Cath Lab's Cryogenic Ablation equipment for electrophysiology procedures at the Heart Center. This equipment allows physicians to use cold temperatures to correct abnormalities of the heart's circuitry with reduced side effects. This sophisticated process is more controlled and does less damage to nearby tissues than hot ablation.
Melissa Flammio Clark is chairing the Health First Foundation volunteer committee that is organizing this year's event.
Corporate sponsorships for Grape Escape are available, and range in level from $1,000 to $50,000. For more information, call the Health First Foundation at (321) 434-7140.
